Here yet the same as usual. I got a letter from Ett and Hank Knox, one written on the 7th and one on the 8th.
Fri. May 20, 1864
Another fine day here in Fredericksburg. Don't see any prospect of getting away from here very soon. I wrote a letter to Henry Knox today.
Sat. May 21, 1864
I have pretty sick this forenoon but a good deal better in the afternoon.
Sun. May 22,1864
It was a very warm night last night and it is very warm this morning. I feel a good deal better today. We heard the cars whistle over to Falmouth tonight, about 2 miles from here.
